Dance competitions move quickly. Performances are back-to-back, lighting conditions vary, and there’s no second chance to capture key moments.
My role is to work within that environment and deliver clear, consistent coverage of each performance — without disrupting the flow of the event.

Whether it’s ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, jazz, acro & cheerleading, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, traditional or commercial dance, I ensure each image reflects the skill and artistry of the dancer.
Beyond the performances, I also cover the awards ceremony, capturing the excitement of winners receiving their trophies and medals. Plus, I can photograph behind-the-scenes moments, presenters and judges in action, workshops, your staging and branding—creating a complete visual story of the competition.

How bookings work
Competition photography is typically delivered using a collective model, where images are made available for dancers and families to purchase after the event.
This allows full event coverage without adding cost or administration for organisers.

I will come to your competition venue. I chiefly work throughout Scotland, covering the whole country. And I am also happy to travel throughout the UK and beyond for larger scale competitions.
I am happy to fit in with your schedule. And can attend morning, afternoon and evening sessions (night time too), 7 days a week. Subject to availability of course.
