- Your own private online gallery (password and SSL secured)
- Access key to download any or all of the photos from your gallery at screen resolution (ideal for use online).
- Ability to buy high resolution downloads and prints directly through your online gallery.

Dancer Photo Shoots at Show Time
In addition to covering the action on stage, I offer dancer photo shoots for soloists, duos, and groups. This is especially popular for dance school shows. Creating beautiful keepsake photos for the dancer’s family and friends.
Showtime Dancer Photo Calls
Usually this takes the form of a photo call prior to the show. I’ll bring my pop-up professional photo studio to your chosen location.
I know that showtime can be extremely busy. So I will of course always do my best to fit in with your schedule. Without adding to your stress or workload.
The good news is that there’s usually no cost to your dance school if the dancer photo shoot is part of a dance show photography package. So it won’t add to your budget too.

When?
I am happy to fit in with your schedule. And can arrange shoots morning, afternoon and evening (night time too), 7 days a week. Subject to availability of course.
Where
Usually I will come to your chosen location, indoors or outdoors. So that could be your dance studio, rehearsal room, performance venue, on a beach, in a forest… I can also arrange a photo studio shoot if preferred (subject to availability). I chiefly work throughout Scotland, covering the whole country. Although I am happy to travel throughout the UK and beyond if required.
Note that some locations have photography restrictions. If you think this may apply to where you would like to have your portrait shoot please check first. If you select a location with restrictions when booking I’ll get in touch to rearrange.
I can also arrange a studio shoot or specific location if preferred. But note that these options are subject to availability and additional charges and can’t be self booked through my booking page. Please get in touch for more info.
What (about travel charges)
I do not usually charge extra for shoots within Central Scotland. But if you are considering a shoot outside of the ‘central belt’ please get in touch to check if there would be any ‘mileage’ charge.
What (if it's bad weather)
OK. If you book an outdoor shoot which cannot go ahead because of poor weather you will have the option to switch to an indoor location (if you have one available); or reschedule to another available day / time. When neither option is possible you can request a refund of any deposit / shoot fee you have paid.
How (do I view the photos)
After your photo shoot I will edit the photos and create your very own password protected and ssl secure online photo gallery which you can access via my website. I will email a link and the password as soon as your gallery is online. So that way you will be able to view your photos whenever you wish. And you’re more than welcome to share the password with family and friends too.
How (do I get the photos)
The best bit is that there’s no need for a ‘viewing appointment’. You’ll be able to download your favourites directly from your online gallery at screen resolution. Ideal for viewing on smartphone or tablet or sharing on social media. Plus, you can conveniently order beautiful prints, albums and contemporary wall art along with printable high resolution image files through your own private online gallery for direct delivery. That way you only pay for the items that you really want and there’s no sales pressure.
How (much is it)
Students and under 18s can get a 20% discount off the standard prices listed below. Self book options include:
- a 1 hour dancer portrait photo shoot at £195
- my 2 hour ‘base’ dance photoshoots cost £250
- my 4 hour ‘half day’ dancer photo shoots cost £395
- my 8 hour ‘full day’ dance photoshoots cost £695
Dancer photo shoots can be shared by more than one person. But if you are intending to share the shoot please contact me before booking to discuss numbers.
There is usually no charge for dance school show photo calls. When part of a show coverage package. Photos are sold directly to dancers, parents, family and friends through a private online gallery.
